Perched in the hilltops of Central New York, Broad Strides Farm focuses on sustainability and the production of high quality, natural eggs, wool, and produce.

Our small farm practices include: ​

• No-till vegetable production including the utilization of cover crops and compost in place of artificial nutrients, sprays, and commercial fertilizers. 

• Exclusively using hand tools and never using fossil fuels in production. 

• Intensive pasture rotation for our sheep and chickens.

• Water-saving mulching techniques.

• Growing exclusively non-GMO and heirloom vegetable varieties. 

• A strong focus on food justice and accessibility in the Cortland Area through partnerships with CAPCO and the 7 Valleys Health Coalition.
